Back to School!!

By now, everyone's back to school and getting into a "school" routine. Other than classes, some of our students are very actively involved in things like band, chorus, soccer and dance. Lisa and I are looking forward to visiting the many various events that our students will be involved with in the months ahead.

Parents, please be in prayer for our students as they'll soon have the opportunity to participate in "See You At the Pole" (Wednesday, September 24th @ 7:00 AM @ their school flagpole), which takes place at all of our local schools. This is a powerful opportunity for them to take a stand for what they believe in and to be a blessing by praying for school administration, teachers, other students, our nation, our President, our communities, etc. We are always so proud of those students who participate in this time of worship and prayer.

Our Wednesday evening service on September 3rd was a special evening when we welcomed new students to the group who had moved up from the Recycled Kids ministry. We praise the Lord because our group now consists of about 30 students!! God is good and faithful and the group keeps growing.

Moms & Dads, you should have recently received a letter from Lisa & I as well as a copy of our newest Parental Permission/Medical Release form. Please complete this form and return it to us as soon as possible. It's important that we have this form signed by a parent prior to taking students on any youth group functions.

Thank you to our church board, the church family, parents and friends for your continued prayers and support of the youth ministry of First Assembly of God Church. We look forward to the great things God has in store for our group throughout this upcoming year.
